As May arrives, Hong Kong’s weather has turned hot, humid, and rainy—summer is officially here. The rising temperatures make it increasingly grueling for volunteers to move about outdoors distributing food, yet our efforts have not slowed down!
We recovered over two tons of food this month! We extend our heartfelt thanks to every volunteer who braved the sweltering heat on the streets to provide tangible food support to more than 8,000 local residents. In addition to over 10,000 loaves of bread, the number of meal boxes distributed also increased, bringing hot, nourishing meals to those in need.
We invite you to sign up as a volunteer; your participation helps us ensure that recovered food continues to reach those who need it most during the scorching summer months!
